Michelle has over 20 years’ experience in permanent and interim executive search. Firstly, partnering with ASX100, FMCG and consumer-led businesses, Michelle supported organisations in the appointment of C-Suite leaders, both nationally and internationally.
Since 2018 Michelle has been assisting sectors that have social impact including health, education, government, and not-for-profit organisations, for their Board, permanent and interim needs. Skilled in executive search and selection as well as advertised search, Michelle entered the industry at the age of 37 and has now worked across four firms. Earlier in her career, like many who find their way to the Recruitment industry, Michelle held senior roles in people-centric industries including hotels and not-for-profit organisations, after completing a Hotel Management degree.
Michelle leads the Interim Solutions practice at Davidson, placing executives into short term appointments when an organisation needs extra capability or to fill a leadership gap. The majority of the Interim Talent Pool are seasoned professional across Generation Jones and Gen X. This combined with her own experience as a Gen Xer, means Michelle is well placed to contribute to the Bridging the Gap: Designing High-Performing Multigenerational Teams discussion.
